What we collect
- Nothing personal to browse. You can read every coupon and store page without an account.
- Account data — if you sign in to the admin area we store your email address, a display name and your role, so we know who is allowed to publish.
- Click counts — when you use an outgoing store link we increment an anonymous counter for that offer. No personal identifier is attached.
- Standard server logs — our hosting provider records requests, including IP address and user agent, to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies and tracking
HelpGone sets a session cookie only for signed-in administrators. When you follow a link to a store, that store or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to attribute the visit. Those cookies are controlled by the destination site, not by us — see our affiliate disclosure and each retailer's own privacy policy.
How the data is used
- To keep the coupon list accurate and to remove offers that stop converting.
- To authenticate administrators.
- To detect abuse and keep the site available.
We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that run the site — our hosting platform and our database/authentication provider — and with affiliate networks to the extent they record your click on their own link. Each acts under its own privacy terms.
Retention
Administrator accounts are kept while the account is active. Aggregate click counters are kept indefinitely because they contain no personal data. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. Email us through the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
HelpGone is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
